The fifty-sixth annual Wexford Festival Opera will feature six rarely performed operas alongside a ballet, smaller works, concerts and recitals, and talks in a cutom-built theatre in the magnificent grounds of Johnstown Castle, just outside Wexford Town.

If there is any excuse for a good time then the Irish people will use it. All over Ireland, in every county, town and village you will encounter a festival or event. The excuse may involve food, art, music, sport, history, matchmaking, agriculture, dancing or just about anything else, and will always end in one astronomical party. So before you arrive in Co. Wexford remember to visit The National Events Calendar at www.irishdays.com.
